Issues transpired out of our meeting with Pengarah JAIS, Abang Shamsudin Abang Seruji - 5 April 2012 at Majlis Islam.

1. JAIS will help to speed up the land possession process and promised to fully support our cause.
2. Pengarah advised us to design and construct a SURAU costing RM200,000
3. We have to come up with Letter and
4. Set-up Development Committee

Note:
As both parties agreed to complete the surau within this year, we are going to form the Komiti Pembangunan Surau Kampung Biawak soonest with the special consideration to include ONE reps from JAIS, 4 reps from Kampung Biawak and Herman Ritom to be Penaung and the bulk of the working committee will be from our circle.

Notwithstanding the combination of the above, I would propose the criteria for appointing new Setiausaha must be carefully vetted as he must be very well-versed in Bahasa Malaysia as well as having more free time for this cause. Among others, his duty is preparation of letters, working papers and minutes of meeting. He will also be signing cheques together with Pengerusi dan Setiausaha.

In view of his versatility and agility, Haji Musa Brahim (hcp 22) fits the post of ‘Perhubungan dan Seranta’. In addition, he has vast circle of networking to leverage on and I love to be his assistant.

In our pursuit to make our dreamt-Surau realized, all of us must be willing to take unfamiliar tasks and pushes ourselves to higher level of achievement in order to make the surau completed on time. In short – we must be result-driven!!

What need to be done immediately is the design/Plan to be submitted to JAIS together with our AJK. As we are racing against time, I made a request with Haji Musa to check if JAIS has any ‘good’ one to be adopted and act as back-up - incase the design by Wan Asif is not accepted by JAIS.
